The Stoeger 12 GA Double Defense over-under shotgun is a simple, rugged, and reliable home defense shotgun. With its conventional break-action and short, efficient design, the Stoeger Double Defense is ideal for use in tight quarters and tense situations. It is easy to load and swiftly deploy in an emergency. For countless generations, a double-barrel shotgun has been the defensive firearm of choice, but Stoeger has added practical, modern elements to the “tried-and-true” double gun. The Double Defense is available in 12- or 20-gauge and chambered for 2-3/4- and 3-inch rounds. Fixed enhanced cylinder chokes are standard on the tactical-length 20-inch ported barrels. The Stoeger Double Defense 12 GA is suitable for home security due to its quick, single-trigger design and easy, tang-mounted automatic safety, or taking it with you as a survivalist tool in the woods! The Double Defense gun has a green fiber-optic front sight. It comes standard with two Picatinny Rail accessory mounts: one on the receiver for red-dot sights and a second factory-installed rail under the barrels for connecting targeting lasers or tactical lights. All metal surfaces are finished in matte blue, while the stock and forearm are non-reflective flat black hardwood. The Stoeger 12 ga Double defense is an extremely well-built and strong double-barrel shotgun, designed for multitudes of use.
